How StudyWiz helps in 7th grade
Each topic above is a level on your kid’s quest map. Five quick questions earn up to three stars, every answer comes with an explanation, and quizzes come in three levels: warm-up, on level and challenge.
When the problem is tonight’s homework, your kid can type the question or snap a photo of the page, and Wiz walks through it one step at a time with a hint before each step. See how hints work.
Tips for parents of 7th graders
- Percents are the big real-world skill this year. Let your kid work out the tip at a restaurant or the price after a discount.
- Two-step equations build on the one-step equations from 6th grade. If your kid is stuck, ask what was done to x, and what would undo it.
- Argument writing is built on one habit: backing up a claim with evidence. “How do you know?” at the dinner table is good practice.
