Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you, the parent or guardian who creates a StudyWiz account, and StudyWiz. By creating an account you agree to them.

Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to create an account. You may add up to 4 children for whom you are the parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for your account, your parent PIN and how your children use StudyWiz.

Using StudyWiz

• StudyWiz is a study aid. It is meant to help students understand their work, not to complete graded work or tests for them. Follow your school’s rules on using AI tools.
• AI responses can contain mistakes. Check important answers with a teacher or textbook.
• Do not misuse the service, including trying to access other accounts, overload or attack our systems, extract the AI or use StudyWiz for anything harmful.

Plans and payments

• The free plan includes a daily allowance of homework questions, practice sets and writing reviews per child.
• StudyWiz Plus is a subscription with a monthly, 3-month, 6-month or 12-month billing period. It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
• The 12-month plan includes a 7-day free trial for families that have not had Plus before. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first year is charged when the trial ends.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits do not expire while your account is open and have no cash value.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. Their terms also apply to your purchase.
• Plus includes fair-use limits per child per day to keep the service fast and safe for everyone.

Cancelling

You can cancel Plus at any time from the billing portal in the parent area. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. See our refund policy.

Your content

Your children’s questions and writing remain theirs. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

Changes and ending the service

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

StudyWiz is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
